My Vision: To be an asset to any future contracted or employment opportunities using my new skills in social media, web development and past skill in communications and networking.
Keys for Success: Integrity, Teamwork, Communications, Networking
I am now actively seeking a work place to do my three week practicum!
** As I am nearing completion of my schooling here at BCIT in the New Media and Web Design Program, I look forward to the days when I can pull in contracts relating to social media and networking and media in general.
If you have any ideas, on who I can talk to, or where I can send my portfolio link, and curriculum vitae... please blog me back!! Practicum dates are between September 10 - 28, 2012.

ReplyDeleteHello hello... this is a beautiful time to do new media and web development... wordpress is fascinating... coding is getting easier for me day by day.. but What I really enjoy is the content management. Content Management is quite similar to working as an editor of a tabloid newspaper. You need to network, and gather the info, compile it, then compress it into web style content. Short and sweet is the key, to keeping avid readers on your blog, website, or in social media.
ReplyDeleteI will post the links to a few sites...
ReplyDeleteONE SKILL THAT I NEED TO HIGHLIGHT is the use of my You Tube Channell. My channell is: Delrosa777
ReplyDeleteOver the past year I have taken a few courses in video for the web, specifically for uploading onto you tube and other types of social media. It is instant, and a bit more personal than a text, or a press release.
I now have the ability to film an interview, and then edit the 30 second news clip and post it to You tube.
This is something that I believe could be very beneficial, especially if we can run an RSS feed instantaneously to other sites (like the news sites, international indigenous sites, local sites, etc. etc.).
A lot of my class mates made mini drama's and scary horror type films (that were about 5 minutes long). Wheat Bill and I did was a mini news cast, about earthquakes! It was very different than what a lot of my classmates here at BCIT did, but that was what I wanted to do, a Earthquake Survival short film.
With social media, the way of the future for communication is to publish short news clips. Think of the publicity that some of the You tube video's get - they go viral.
We could do this for enbridge oil, the destruction of the earth, the reality of the endangered species in the BC interior...
Very true!! You tube has the real news content nowadays
DeleteHello hello out there in the internet world! How is everyone out there doing?
